What is
Botox?
Less muscle activity. A softer line.
Botox Cosmetic is a prescription botulinum toxin treatment that temporarily reduces activity in selected muscles. It is used for certain expression-related lines; it does not add volume or replace treatment for every kind of wrinkle.
At Revival, assessment considers your natural movement, existing asymmetry and the areas you want to address. Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Jeuveau are distinct products, with different labeling and non-interchangeable units. Your provider explains the product being recommended.

Targeted relaxation, not added volume.
Botulinum toxin reduces the nerve signal that tells a treated muscle to contract. Less repeated contraction can soften the associated expression line.
Placement matters as much as the treatment name. The plan considers how neighboring muscles work together and the movement you want to retain.
During your appointment
- Assess. Your provider observes expressions and reviews health history, medicines and previous toxin treatment.
- Treat. Small injections are placed in the agreed muscles.
- Review. The effect develops over the following days; your provider advises when a review is meaningful.
Treatment areas
Forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet are common cosmetic areas. Other areas require separate discussion of product labeling and suitability.
Downtime & recovery
Small marks, bruises or tenderness can follow injections. Follow the aftercare provided and allow the effect to develop before deciding whether an adjustment is needed.
How results develop
The effect is temporary. Timing and duration vary by product, area and individual response. A treatment interval should follow clinical assessment, not a fixed promotional schedule.

No. Botox affects muscle activity. Filler places material beneath the skin to change volume or contour.
Will my face still move?
Your treatment plan should discuss movement explicitly. Placement and dose affect the result, and a particular appearance cannot be guaranteed.
Do different wrinkle relaxers use the same units?
No. Units are specific to each product and should not be converted as if the products were identical.
When should I assess my Botox result?

What will my treatment cost?

What should I discuss before treatment?
Discuss medications and supplements with your Revival provider before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medication without guidance from the prescribing clinician. Bruising, headache, asymmetry, drooping or unwanted weakness can occur. Botulinum toxin products carry a warning about spread of toxin effects; trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing requires immediate medical attention.
