REVIVAL · QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
A little clarity.
Explore practical answers about visiting Revival, treatments, memberships and planning your care. Your provider can advise on your individual circumstances.
Your visit
Where is Revival?
You’ll find us at 24 East 36th Street, New York, NY 10016, in Midtown Manhattan. Parking is available down the block. Contact our team before visiting for parking, entrance or accessibility details.
When are you open?
Our current hours are Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, 10 AM–7 PM. Available appointment times are shown in Fresha.
How do I book?
Book directly through Fresha, where you can choose an available provider and time. You can also send an enquiry to Revival for help. An enquiry does not reserve an appointment.
Can I choose my provider?
Yes. Provider choice is available when booking in Fresha, subject to availability. Meet our team before choosing, or ask Revival for help.
What should I bring to a consultation?
Bring your questions and be ready to discuss your goals, past treatments and current medicines with your provider. Share medical information during your clinical consultation, not through the general website form.
Will I have treatment at my first visit?
That depends on the treatment, your assessment and appointment availability. Booking a consultation does not guarantee same-day treatment.
How do membership prices work?
Signature and Reserve offer preferred prices and privileges. Monthly fees do not become treatment credit. Treatments are purchased separately, and fixed injectable rates and exclusions apply.
Can I change an appointment?
Use the options in your Fresha confirmation or contact Revival. Review the cancellation, deposit and rescheduling terms supplied with your booking.
Is sending an enquiry the same as booking?
No. An enquiry lets our team help you choose your next step. Appointments are confirmed separately through Fresha.
What is the new-guest offer?
New guests receive 10% off their first eligible Revival treatment. It cannot be combined with other offers or member prices. Your team confirms eligibility before payment.
Do membership fees become treatment credit?
No. Signature and Reserve unlock member benefits and eligible preferred prices. Treatments are purchased separately.
What is the minimum membership term?
Signature and Reserve have a three-month minimum commitment. Review the membership agreement before joining.
How does Reserve Fourth work?
Complete three qualifying visits of $199 or more, with one visit counting per day. Reserve Fourth gives 30% off one eligible treatment, up to $250, for 60 days, subject to clinical timing extensions. It replaces other discounts.
Can offers be combined?
One best eligible price applies. Member rates, packages, Special Offers, referral rewards and Reserve Fourth do not stack.
Where can I see treatment prices?
Our treatments directory and individual treatment pages show standard and eligible member prices. Your provider confirms the appropriate treatment and total price before you choose.
How do gift cards work?
Digital gift cards are available through our Fresha checkout. Ask our team about the premium physical gift card and collection arrangements.
Morpheus8
Is Morpheus8 the same as conventional microneedling?
No. Morpheus8 adds radiofrequency energy and heat. Conventional microneedling does not; their risks and suitability differ.
Will I need time to recover?
Yes, plan around the individual recovery advice you receive. Skin can remain sensitive even once the initial redness has reduced.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no universal course. The area, concern and response guide whether further treatment is appropriate.
Which areas can Morpheus8 treat?
Face, neck and selected areas of the body. Your provider confirms which areas can be treated with the appropriate device configuration and settings.
What risks should I discuss?
RF microneedling can cause burns, scarring, unwanted fat loss and nerve damage. The FDA has reported serious complications with certain uses. Discuss these risks, your skin history and alternatives before treatment.
Botox
Is Botox the same as filler?
No. Botox affects muscle activity. Filler places material beneath the skin to change volume or contour.
Will my face still move?
Your treatment plan should discuss movement explicitly. Placement and dose affect the result, and a particular appearance cannot be guaranteed.
Do different wrinkle relaxers use the same units?
No. Units are specific to each product and should not be converted as if the products were identical.
When should I assess my Botox result?
The effect is temporary. Timing and duration vary by product, area and individual response. A treatment interval should follow clinical assessment, not a fixed promotional schedule.
What risks should I discuss?
Bruising, headache, asymmetry, drooping or unwanted weakness can occur. Botulinum toxin products carry a warning about spread of toxin effects; trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing requires immediate medical attention.
Dermal fillers
Can every filler be dissolved?
No. Hyaluronidase can break down hyaluronic acid filler, but it does not reverse every type of filler. Removal has its own risks.
How much filler will I need?
The amount follows the assessment, the selected product and your goals. It should not be decided solely by a package size.
Can I bring information about previous filler?
Yes. Product names, dates, areas treated and any complications are useful even when treatment took place elsewhere.
What should I expect after dermal filler?
Allow for temporary swelling, bruising and tenderness. Your provider will explain aftercare and when to assess the settled appearance; an immediate photograph is not the final result.
What risks should I discuss?
Filler can cause swelling, infection, lumps and asymmetry. Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, blindness or stroke. Sudden vision changes, unusual severe pain or pale or dusky skin require urgent medical attention.
Lip filler
Will one syringe suit everyone?
No. The appropriate amount depends on your anatomy, existing filler and proposed change.
Is lip filler the same as a lip flip?
No. A lip flip changes muscle activity around the upper lip; filler adds material and volume.
What if I already have filler?
Tell your provider what was used and when. Adding more may not be the best first step.
When should I judge my lip filler result?
Early fullness includes swelling. Judge the appearance after the advised settling period, not in the first hours. Results are temporary and future treatment depends on assessment.
What risks should I discuss?
Filler can cause swelling, infection, lumps and asymmetry. Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, blindness or stroke. Sudden vision changes, unusual severe pain or pale or dusky skin require urgent medical attention.
Facial balancing
Is this a fixed package of syringes?
No. A meaningful plan starts with the assessment rather than a predetermined quantity.
Does balancing mean making my face symmetrical?
Natural faces are not perfectly symmetrical. The assessment considers what can reasonably change without promising symmetry.
Can the plan be spread over time?
Discuss sequencing, recovery and budget with your provider. Some decisions are better made after the first stage settles.
How does a facial-balancing appointment work?
Consider. Discuss the changes you want and review previous treatment. Plan. Agree on priorities, suitable procedures and the order in which to consider them. Reassess. Review the effect of each stage before deciding on another.
What risks should I discuss?
Each proposed treatment requires its own consent and discussion of risks. Filler can cause vascular complications; toxin can cause unwanted weakness. Combining treatments does not remove those risks.
Cheek filler
Will cheek filler lift my whole face?
It can change midface contour, but it is not a substitute for a surgical lift and cannot resolve every source of lower-face laxity.
Is more projection always the aim?
No. Discuss whether the goal is volume restoration, definition or no added projection.
What is recovery like after cheek filler?
Allow for temporary swelling, bruising and tenderness. Your provider will explain aftercare and when to assess the settled appearance; an immediate photograph is not the final result.
What risks should I discuss?
Filler can cause swelling, infection, lumps and asymmetry. Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, blindness or stroke. Sudden vision changes, unusual severe pain or pale or dusky skin require urgent medical attention.
Chin & jawline filler
Does jawline filler remove a double chin?
No. Filler adds volume; it does not remove fat beneath the chin.
Can filler replace jaw surgery?
No. It changes soft-tissue contour and cannot correct bite problems or restructure the jaw.
What should I expect after chin or jawline filler?
Allow for temporary swelling, bruising and tenderness. Your provider will explain aftercare and when to assess the settled appearance; an immediate photograph is not the final result.
What risks should I discuss?
Filler can cause swelling, infection, lumps and asymmetry. Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, blindness or stroke. Sudden vision changes, unusual severe pain or pale or dusky skin require urgent medical attention.
Under-eye filler
Will this remove my dark circles?
Only if a contour hollow is a relevant cause. Pigmentation and puffiness need a different discussion.
Why might I be advised against filler here?
Existing swelling, previous filler and the cause of the shadow can make another approach more appropriate.
What is recovery like after under-eye filler?
Allow for temporary swelling, bruising and tenderness. Your provider will explain aftercare and when to assess the settled appearance; an immediate photograph is not the final result.
What risks should I discuss?
Filler can cause swelling, infection, lumps and asymmetry. Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, blindness or stroke. Sudden vision changes, unusual severe pain or pale or dusky skin require urgent medical attention.
Lip flip
Will a lip flip make my lips much bigger?
It does not add volume. The visible change is generally about position rather than a larger lip.
Is a lip flip FDA-approved?
Use of botulinum toxin for a lip flip is off-label. Your clinician should explain what that means for your treatment.
Can it affect drinking?
Yes. Temporary weakness around the mouth can affect drinking or other movements.
What should I expect after a lip flip?
Tenderness or bruising may occur. Temporary weakness can affect drinking, pursing the lips or speaking; this tradeoff should be discussed before treatment.
What risks should I discuss?
Bruising, headache, asymmetry, drooping or unwanted weakness can occur. Botulinum toxin products carry a warning about spread of toxin effects; trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing requires immediate medical attention.
Masseter Botox
Is this an approved cosmetic Botox indication?
Masseter injection for jaw slimming is an off-label use. Discuss the evidence and alternatives with your clinician.
Will it treat every cause of jaw pain?
No. Jaw pain has several possible causes and may require dental or medical evaluation.
How does it differ from jawline filler?
This targets muscle activity. Filler adds material to change contour.
What should I expect after masseter Botox?
Bruising, tenderness or chewing fatigue can occur. Unwanted weakness may affect the smile. Report functional changes to your treating provider.
What risks should I discuss?
Bruising, headache, asymmetry, drooping or unwanted weakness can occur. Botulinum toxin products carry a warning about spread of toxin effects; trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing requires immediate medical attention.
Neck Botox
Will this tighten loose neck skin?
It targets muscle activity, not excess skin. A different option may be needed when skin laxity is the main concern.
Is this the same as treating horizontal neck lines?
No. Horizontal lines and vertical muscle bands require different assessments.
How do neck Botox results develop?
The effect develops after treatment and is temporary. Improvement in muscle bands should not be confused with removal of excess skin.
What risks should I discuss?
Bruising, headache, asymmetry, drooping or unwanted weakness can occur. Botulinum toxin products carry a warning about spread of toxin effects; trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing requires immediate medical attention.
Excessive sweating
Should sudden sweating be treated cosmetically?
New, generalized or unexplained sweating needs medical assessment before a cosmetic treatment is considered.
Does this stop sweating throughout my body?
No. Treatment acts in the areas injected.
Which sweating areas does this treatment cover?
Commonly the underarms. Other sites require a separate discussion of evidence, product labeling and risk.
What risks should I discuss?
Bruising, headache, asymmetry, drooping or unwanted weakness can occur. Botulinum toxin products carry a warning about spread of toxin effects; trouble swallowing, speaking or breathing requires immediate medical attention.
Filler dissolving
Can Sculptra or Radiesse be dissolved this way?
No. Hyaluronidase targets hyaluronic acid; other filler materials need a different discussion.
Can I refill at the same appointment?
Timing depends on the reason for dissolving and the tissue response. Agree on reassessment before assuming immediate replacement.
What should I expect after filler dissolving?
Swelling, bruising and tenderness can follow treatment. Allergic reactions are possible. Your provider will explain what warrants urgent contact.
What risks should I discuss?
Hyaluronidase can cause allergic reactions, including serious reactions, along with swelling and bruising. It can affect native hyaluronic acid temporarily and may not resolve every filler concern.
Sculptra
Is the first-day fullness the final result?
No. Early swelling and the injected fluid can affect the appearance. The intended response develops over time.
Can it be dissolved if I change my mind?
It cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase like hyaluronic acid filler. Discuss that difference before treatment.
How do Sculptra results develop?
Changes develop gradually rather than at the moment of injection. Individual response, course and duration vary; no fixed result or treatment count is guaranteed.
What risks should I discuss?
Bruising, swelling, lumps, nodules and infection can occur. Intravascular injection can cause serious injury. Sculptra is not readily reversed with hyaluronidase.
Radiesse
Is Radiesse a hyaluronic acid filler?
No. It uses calcium hydroxylapatite and has different properties and removal considerations.
Can it be used everywhere?
No. Indications and appropriate areas depend on the specific product and clinical assessment.
What should I expect after Radiesse?
Allow for temporary swelling, bruising and tenderness. Your provider will explain aftercare and when to assess the settled appearance; an immediate photograph is not the final result.
What risks should I discuss?
Swelling, bruising, nodules, infection and asymmetry are possible. Intravascular injection can cause tissue injury, blindness or stroke. Reversal is not equivalent to that of hyaluronic acid filler.
PDO threads
Is a thread lift the same as a facelift?
No. It does not remove excess skin and offers a different degree and duration of change.
Are all PDO threads designed to lift?
No. Thread shape and intended use differ; ask which type is being proposed.
What is recovery like after PDO threads?
Swelling, bruising, tenderness or a pulling sensation can occur. Dimpling, visible threads or discomfort need review rather than being assumed to be normal.
What risks should I discuss?
Risks include infection, thread extrusion, visible or palpable threads, asymmetry, persistent pain and an unsatisfactory result. Removal or another procedure may be required.
IPL photofacial
Is IPL a laser?
No. IPL uses a range of wavelengths with filters; a laser works differently.
Can it treat melasma?
Melasma needs careful assessment. Light-based treatment is not appropriate for every case and can worsen pigment in some people.
Can I have treatment with a tan?
Recent tanning changes the risk. Tell your provider about sun exposure and self-tanning products before booking.
What is recovery like after an IPL photofacial?
Redness, swelling or a temporary darkening of treated pigment can occur. Avoid picking and follow the instructions provided. Blistering or worsening pain needs review.
What risks should I discuss?
Burns, blistering, pigment changes, scarring and eye injury are possible. Skin tone, recent sun exposure and light-sensitizing medicines influence suitability.
Laser resurfacing
Is every resurfacing treatment the same?
No. The device, wavelength, treatment depth and whether it is ablative materially change the procedure.
Does the M22 name guarantee ResurFX is included?
No. M22 is a platform with different modules. Confirm the exact treatment with Revival.
Can I book just before a major event?
Plan only after discussing expected recovery and the possibility of a longer skin response.
What is recovery like after laser resurfacing?
Redness, swelling, dryness or a rough texture may follow treatment. Recovery differs substantially by device and settings; get an individual timeline before scheduling around an event.
What risks should I discuss?
Burns, pigment changes, infection, scarring and cold-sore reactivation can occur. Tell your provider about a history of pigment problems, slow healing or herpes outbreaks.
DiamondGlow
Is DiamondGlow the same as microneedling?
No. It works at the surface through dermabrasion and topical serum delivery, rather than placing needles into skin.
Which serum will I receive?
The selection should follow your skin assessment. Tell your provider about allergies and previous reactions.
Can it cure acne?
No. It is not a substitute for diagnosis or a medical acne treatment plan.
Which areas can DiamondGlow treat?
The face and other suitable areas within the device protocol. Confirm the areas included in your appointment when booking.
What risks should I discuss?
Irritation and allergic reactions are possible. Compromised skin, active weeping acne, open wounds or cold sores may make treatment unsuitable.
Microneedling
How is this different from Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 combines needling with radiofrequency energy. Conventional microneedling does not add that heat.
Does a deeper setting always work better?
No. Depth must suit the area and indication. Greater depth also changes the risks.
Can I use my usual acids or retinoids straight away?
Follow your provider’s restart instructions rather than assuming your normal routine is suitable during recovery.
What is recovery like after microneedling?
Redness, tightness, sensitivity or pinpoint bleeding can occur. Skin may react more strongly to active skincare while recovering.
What risks should I discuss?
Infection, pigment changes, scarring and cold-sore flare-ups are possible. Active infection, some skin conditions and healing disorders can affect suitability.
PRP facial
Is this an FDA-approved facial procedure?
No blanket FDA approval applies to a PRP facial. Device clearances and the procedure’s clinical use are different matters.
Is PRP the same as stem cells or exosomes?
No. These are different materials with different evidence and regulatory considerations.
How does a PRP facial appointment work?
Clarify. Discuss the exact method, evidence and alternatives. Prepare. If suitable, blood is collected and processed using an appropriate sterile system. Treat & review. The agreed procedure is performed and recovery and response are reviewed.
What risks should I discuss?
Blood collection and injection carry infection, bruising and bleeding risks. Poor infection control is a serious concern. Using your own blood does not make the procedure risk-free.
Chemical peels
Will I definitely shed visible skin?
Not necessarily. The skin response depends on the formula and depth, and visible shedding is not the only measure of effect.
Can I peel the skin off myself?
No. Follow your aftercare and let shedding occur without picking or scrubbing.
Are all peels suitable for darker skin?
No. The choice and technique require individual assessment, particularly where pigment changes are a concern.
What is recovery like after a chemical peel?
Redness, dryness and shedding may occur. Deeper treatments can require substantially longer recovery, so confirm the plan before booking around work or events.
What risks should I discuss?
Burns, persistent redness, infection, scarring and lasting pigment changes are possible. Skin tone and a history of cold sores or abnormal healing require careful discussion.
Facials
Can I book if my skin is breaking out?
Tell Revival about the type and severity of the breakout. Some skin needs medical care or a gentler approach instead.
Will every facial include extractions?
No. Confirm the booked treatment, and allow your provider to adjust if extraction is unsuitable.
Is a back facial the same appointment?
It treats a different area and may have a different duration or protocol. Specify the area when booking.
How is a facial appointment tailored to my skin?
Review. Discuss current skincare, reactions and the purpose of the visit. Adapt. Confirm the steps appropriate for your skin and the booked service. Maintain. Leave with guidance about a manageable routine and any next step.
What risks should I discuss?
Products or extractions may cause irritation, allergic reactions or infection. Inflamed, broken or infected skin may need a different approach.
Dermaplaning
Will hair grow back thicker?
Dermaplaning does not change the hair follicle or permanently alter the growth pattern.
Is this the same as laser hair removal?
No. It removes hair at the surface; laser hair reduction targets the follicle.
What should I expect after dermaplaning?
Temporary redness or sensitivity can occur. Cuts, irritation or infection are possible; follow the recovery instructions for your treatment.
What risks should I discuss?
Cuts, infection, pigment changes and scarring are possible. Active acne, eczema or other skin conditions may affect whether treatment is appropriate.
Emsculpt NEO
Will this make me lose weight?
It is not a weight-loss treatment. Discuss body contour and muscle goals separately from weight management.
Can everyone have treatment?
No. Implants, pregnancy and medical history require assessment.
Is a package automatically the right number of sessions?
The course should be explained for your area and reviewed against response, rather than assumed from a package alone.
Which areas can Emsculpt treat?
Selected areas such as the abdomen or buttocks, depending on the applicator and protocol. Confirm the area and purpose before booking.
What risks should I discuss?
Heating can cause burns and stimulation can cause discomfort. Pregnancy, electronic or metal implants and some medical conditions may make treatment unsuitable. Review these before treatment.
Morpheus8 Body
Is body treatment the same as facial Morpheus8?
The underlying technology is related, but the handpiece, tissue and settings may differ substantially.
Will it remove excess skin?
It does not surgically remove skin and should not be presented as equivalent to a body lift.
What is recovery like after Morpheus8 Body?
Redness, swelling, tenderness and small needle marks may occur. Clothing, friction and activity can affect comfort, so discuss practical recovery for the chosen area.
What risks should I discuss?
RF microneedling can cause burns, scars, unwanted fat loss, nerve injury and disfigurement. The FDA has reported serious complications with certain uses. Discuss alternatives and device experience before treatment.
Laser hair removal
Will one session remove all the hair?
No. Growth cycles mean one session cannot treat every hair at its most responsive stage.
Can light or gray hair be treated?
Hair with little pigment often responds poorly. Discuss alternatives before buying a course.
Should I wax beforehand?
Ask for preparation instructions. Removing the hair from the root can interfere with the target needed for laser treatment.
Which areas can be treated with laser hair removal?
Common areas include the face, underarms, bikini line and legs. Small, medium and large-area bookings belong to the same treatment family; confirm exact coverage.
What risks should I discuss?
Burns, blistering, lasting pigment changes, scarring and eye injury are possible. Appropriate device selection and protective eyewear are essential.
PRP hair restoration
Can PRP grow hair where follicles are gone?
It is not a way to create new follicles. Long-standing bald areas may need a different discussion.
Is PRP the same as a hair transplant?
No. A transplant relocates follicles; PRP does not.
Do I need a diagnosis first?
Yes. Understanding the type and cause of hair loss helps determine whether PRP has a reasonable role.
What should I expect after PRP scalp treatment?
The blood draw and scalp injections can cause tenderness, swelling, bruising or pinpoint bleeding. Follow scalp-care advice and report signs of infection.
What risks should I discuss?
Infection, pain, bleeding and bruising are possible. Blood disorders, medicines and scalp conditions can affect suitability. Your own blood does not make the procedure risk-free.
Tattoo removal
How many visits will I need?
The ink, colors, skin and response all matter. A precise count cannot be guaranteed from size alone.
Can every color be removed?
No. Response depends on the pigment and available wavelengths; some ink may remain.
Can I treat over a tan?
Tell your provider about recent sun exposure. A tan can change the risk and timing.
What is healing like after laser tattoo removal?
Redness, swelling, blistering or crusting can occur. Protect the area and avoid picking; follow the specific wound-care plan.
What risks should I discuss?
Burns, infection, scars and permanent lightening or darkening of skin can occur. Some cosmetic pigments can become darker after laser exposure.
Kybella
Can Kybella treat body fat elsewhere?
Its approved cosmetic indication is beneath the chin in adults. It should not be described as approved for general body fat reduction.
Will it tighten loose skin?
It targets fat cells, not excess skin. Laxity needs its own assessment.
What should I expect after Kybella?
Swelling, bruising, pain, numbness or firmness can be noticeable. Discuss the likely visible recovery before arranging treatment around an event.
What risks should I discuss?
Risks include nerve injury causing an uneven smile, difficulty swallowing, ulceration, infection and tissue damage. Injection in the wrong location can cause serious harm.
IV therapy
Will an IV boost my immunity or detox my body?
Those claims are not established simply because vitamins are delivered through a vein. Ask what evidence supports the exact proposed treatment.
Can I choose a formula just by its marketing name?
Ask for the ingredient list and clinical rationale first. The names alone do not establish benefit or safety.
Does Revival offer a specific ingredient or dose?
Confirm the current formulation directly with Revival. This page does not establish an ingredient list or prescription for your appointment.
What happens at an IV therapy appointment?
Assess. Review symptoms, goals, medicines, allergies and relevant heart or kidney conditions. Confirm. Agree on the exact formulation and discuss alternatives. Monitor. If appropriate, the infusion is administered with monitoring and aftercare instructions.
What risks should I discuss?
Infection, vein irritation, allergic reactions, fluid overload and electrolyte problems are possible. Kidney or heart disease and certain medicines can make an infusion unsuitable.
Vitamin injections
Will a B12 shot give everyone more energy?
No. Benefit depends on whether there is a relevant deficiency or medical indication. Fatigue has many possible causes.
Are methyl B12 and cyanocobalamin the same product?
They are different forms. Your provider should explain which product is proposed and why.
Can I replace a medical assessment with vitamin shots?
No. Persistent or unexplained symptoms should be evaluated rather than repeatedly treated with injections without a diagnosis.
What happens at a vitamin injection appointment?
Review. Discuss symptoms, diet, medicines, allergies and any relevant test results. Select. Confirm the exact vitamin, formulation and reason for using an injection. Follow up. Review the response and whether further care or testing is appropriate.
What risks should I discuss?
Allergic reactions, infection and local injection reactions are possible. Medicines, medical history and the exact formulation affect suitability.
Morpheus8 vs microneedling
Is Morpheus8 always better?
No. Adding radiofrequency changes the procedure and its risks. The appropriate choice depends on the concern, skin and treatment plan.
Can I choose based on downtime alone?
Recovery matters, but it is only one part of the decision. Ask about likely benefit, alternatives and the risks of the specific settings proposed.
Botox vs dermal fillers
Do I need Botox and filler together?
Not necessarily. They address different goals. An assessment may support one, both, another approach or no treatment.
Which gives a more natural result?
The outcome depends on an appropriate plan, placement and amount, rather than choosing one category as universally more natural.
Acne scars & uneven texture
Will one treatment remove every acne scar?
No. Scar type and skin response vary, and complete removal cannot be promised. A staged plan may be more appropriate.
Can dark marks be treated like indented scars?
They are different concerns. Pigment changes and changes in skin structure need to be assessed separately.
Pigmentation & uneven tone
Is IPL right for every type of pigmentation?
No. The cause of the pigment and your skin type must be assessed. Some conditions and skin tones require a different approach.
Should a new or changing spot be treated cosmetically?
Have it medically assessed first. Cosmetic treatment should not replace diagnosis of a new or changing lesion.
Hair thinning
Can PRP treat every form of hair loss?
No. Suitability depends on the cause and pattern of hair loss. Medical assessment may be needed before considering PRP.
Are results guaranteed?
No. Response varies. Discuss realistic expectations, review timing and alternatives before committing to treatment.
Unwanted hair
Does a package guarantee permanent removal of every hair?
No. Response varies and additional or maintenance sessions may be needed. A package specifies visits, not a guaranteed result.
Can darker skin tones have laser hair removal?
They may be candidates with an appropriate device and experienced provider. Skin and hair characteristics need individual assessment.
Lip flip vs lip filler
Does a lip flip add filler?
No. The two procedures use different products and work differently.
Can I decide from a photograph alone?
A photograph cannot show all the anatomy or movement involved. An in-person assessment helps determine whether either option is appropriate.
IPL vs laser resurfacing
Is IPL the same as a laser facial?
No. Ask for the actual technology rather than relying on a broad marketing name.
Do I need both?
Not necessarily. A combined recommendation should have a clear purpose for each step.
Morpheus8 vs laser resurfacing
Which is stronger?
That is not a useful universal ranking. Each has different settings, goals and risks.
Can either replace surgery?
Do not assume equivalent results. Discuss what a non-surgical approach can realistically change.
Microneedling vs chemical peels
Are all chemical peels alike?
No. Formulation and depth matter, so ask which peel is proposed.
Can I use the same aftercare for both?
Follow the instructions for your actual procedure rather than treating the two as interchangeable.
DiamondGlow vs a facial
Does a facial always include DiamondGlow?
No. Confirm the exact service and any extra charge before booking.
Is the device option automatically better?
No. Your goal, skin and the actual protocol matter more than a category label.
Sculptra vs Radiesse
Can I compare vial and syringe prices directly?
They are different measures. Compare the complete proposed treatment and its cost.
Are these the same as HA filler?
No. The materials and management considerations differ.
Sculptra vs HA filler
Are all HA fillers identical?
No. Formulations and approved uses differ. Confirm the specific product.
Should I choose only by how long it lasts?
Duration is one factor. Appropriateness, risks, maintenance and the change you want also matter.
PRP facial vs microneedling
Does microneedling always include PRP?
No. Ask for the appointment’s exact inclusions.
Is the combination automatically more effective?
No universal benefit should be assumed. Ask what evidence supports adding PRP for your concern.
Emsculpt NEO vs Morpheus8 Body
Is either a weight-loss treatment?
They should not be treated as substitutes for weight management or general health care.
Do I need both for body definition?
Not automatically. Each proposed procedure should address a specific assessed concern.
Fine lines & wrinkles
Does every wrinkle need Botox?
No. The cause and area need assessment before choosing an approach.
Can I keep natural expression?
Discuss that goal explicitly with your provider; an individual outcome cannot be guaranteed.
Skin laxity & firmness
Can a device treatment replace a lift?
Do not assume equivalent outcomes. Discuss the limits of non-surgical treatment.
Is more energy always better?
No. Settings are clinical decisions based on the person, area and device.
Uneven texture & visible pores
Can treatment make skin permanently poreless?
No. Set goals around visible improvement rather than removing a normal skin feature.
Is roughness always acne scarring?
No. An assessment should distinguish scars from congestion and other texture changes.
Lip shape & volume
Should I book filler or a lip flip?
The appropriate choice depends on anatomy and the change you want. Compare both with a provider.
Will the final result be visible immediately?
Immediate appearance can be affected by swelling. Ask when your provider recommends reviewing the result.
Under-eye concerns
Can under-eye filler fix all dark circles?
No. Different causes require different approaches, and some concerns will not benefit from filler.
Should I bring details of previous treatments?
Yes. Product names, dates and prior complications help the provider assess the next step.
Jawline definition
Is jawline filler always the starting point?
No. The cause of the contour concern determines the discussion.
Can a photo establish the correct treatment?
A photo can help communicate your goal, but an assessment is needed to understand structure and movement.
Facial balance & volume
Does balancing mean treating every part of my face?
No. It means considering proportions; the recommendation may be limited or may be no treatment.
Must I use every syringe in a package?
Clinical need should determine treatment. Discuss unused-value terms before purchasing.
Acne & congestion
Can a facial cure acne?
No universal cure should be promised. Persistent acne may need medical treatment.
Should scars and active acne be treated as the same concern?
They need separate assessment, and active breakouts may affect the order of care.
Persistent redness
Is every red face rosacea?
No. A clinician should assess the cause.
Should I book IPL before knowing the cause?
Arrange an assessment first so suitability and alternatives can be discussed.
Neck lines & laxity
Are neck lines and bands the same?
No. The visible change needs assessment before selecting a treatment.
Will a face treatment price include the neck?
Do not assume it does. Confirm the exact area and written price.
Body definition
Can one device address every body concern?
No. Different technologies have different purposes and limitations.
Does buying more sessions guarantee a stronger result?
No. Response varies and further treatment should follow clinical assessment.
Unwanted filler & correction
Can any filler be dissolved?
No. The material matters, and some products are difficult or impossible to remove.
Should I add filler to cover a result I dislike?
Have the existing treatment assessed before adding another procedure.
Botox vs Dysport vs Xeomin
Can I compare the brands by price per unit?
Not reliably. Units are not interchangeable. Compare the complete proposed treatment and its total price.
Does one brand suit everyone best?
No universal brand choice replaces individual assessment and discussion of previous response.
Does this page mean all three are available at Revival?
No. Confirm current product availability with our team before booking.
Are these treatments the same as filler?
No. Toxin treatment changes selected muscle activity; filler is a different category used for volume or support.
PRP hair restoration vs alternatives
Can PRP replace all hair-loss medication?
No. Treatment depends on the cause of hair loss and your clinical assessment.
Can I combine approaches?
Discuss this with the clinician managing your hair loss. A combination is not automatically appropriate.
What if my hair loss is sudden or patchy?
Arrange medical assessment to understand the cause before choosing a cosmetic package.
Are alternative treatments available at Revival?
This is an educational comparison. Ask our team what is actually available; specialist referral may be appropriate.
Emsculpt NEO vs body-contouring alternatives
