What are
Dermal fillers?
Volume placed with a purpose.
Dermal fillers are injectable materials used to change volume, contour or the appearance of certain lines. Many are made with hyaluronic acid, while other products use different materials and work differently.
The right question is where volume belongs. Your provider assesses facial proportions, tissue support and previous treatments before discussing products, placement and limits. More filler does not necessarily mean a better result.

A filler occupies space in the tissue where it is placed. Product properties and injection depth influence how it behaves and the change it creates.
Your plan should identify the exact product and area. Approval for one facial site does not imply approval for every other site, and different fillers have different removal options.
During your appointment
- Assess. Your provider examines the area at rest and in movement, reviews previous filler and discusses the appropriate product and amount.
- Treat. Filler is placed at selected points using a needle or cannula.
- Review. You receive aftercare guidance and a plan for reviewing the settled result.
Treatment areas
Possible areas include the lips, cheeks, chin and jawline, depending on the product and assessment. Treatment sites have different risks.
Downtime & recovery
Allow for temporary swelling, bruising and tenderness. Your provider will explain aftercare and when to assess the settled appearance; an immediate photograph is not the final result.
How results develop
Some contour change is visible immediately, but swelling can distort it. Longevity varies by material, area and individual response. Maintenance is considered after the result settles.

No. Hyaluronidase can break down hyaluronic acid filler, but it does not reverse every type of filler. Removal has its own risks.
How much filler will I need?
The amount follows the assessment, the selected product and your goals. It should not be decided solely by a package size.
Can I bring information about previous filler?
Yes. Product names, dates, areas treated and any complications are useful even when treatment took place elsewhere.
What should I expect after dermal filler?

What will my treatment cost?

What should I discuss before treatment?
Discuss medications and supplements with your Revival provider before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medication without guidance from the prescribing clinician. Filler can cause swelling, infection, lumps and asymmetry. Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue damage, blindness or stroke. Sudden vision changes, unusual severe pain or pale or dusky skin require urgent medical attention.
