What is
Tattoo removal?
Ink color and skin both matter.
Laser tattoo removal uses selected wavelengths and pulse characteristics to target tattoo pigment. The approach depends on the ink colors, depth, location and your skin tone.
A tattoo is rarely removed in one visit. The assessment should discuss the likely course, recovery between sessions and the possibility that some pigment or a visible change in skin will remain.

Laser energy fragments selected ink particles, which the body then processes over time. Different colors may need different wavelengths and can respond unevenly.

- Assess. Review colors, age, depth and any previous removal attempts.
- Treat. Use the appropriate laser and eye protection with agreed comfort measures.
- Heal. Follow wound-care guidance and allow recovery before another session.

How results develop

The ink, colors, skin and response all matter. A precise count cannot be guaranteed from size alone.
Can every color be removed?
No. Response depends on the pigment and available wavelengths; some ink may remain.
Can I treat over a tan?
Tell your provider about recent sun exposure. A tan can change the risk and timing.
What is healing like after laser tattoo removal?
Redness, swelling, blistering or crusting can occur. Protect the area and avoid picking; follow the specific wound-care plan.
What will my treatment cost?

What should I discuss before treatment?
Discuss medications and supplements with your Revival provider before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medication without guidance from the prescribing clinician. Burns, infection, scars and permanent lightening or darkening of skin can occur. Some cosmetic pigments can become darker after laser exposure.
