Skin / CONTROLLED EXFOLIATION / NEW YORK
Explore peel depth, skin goals and the recovery that belongs with the treatment.
01 / THE TREATMENT
A chemical peel applies a selected solution to produce controlled exfoliation. Superficial, medium and deep peels are different procedures, with different effects and recovery requirements.
Your Revival assessment considers skin tone, current products, sun exposure, previous pigment changes and the concern you want to address. The peel name and depth should be clear before treatment.
How the treatment works
The formulation, concentration and application determine the effect on the skin. The subsequent shedding and repair can change the appearance of selected surface concerns.
Visible peeling is not a reliable measure of success. The appropriate intensity follows the condition and skin assessment rather than a goal of peeling as much as possible.
Commonly the face; other areas depend on the formulation and proposed protocol.
Redness, dryness and shedding may occur. Deeper treatments can require substantially longer recovery, so confirm the plan before booking around work or events.
Surface changes may become visible as skin recovers. Repeat treatment is considered only after assessing response and tolerability.

Not necessarily. The skin response depends on the formula and depth, and visible shedding is not the only measure of effect.
No. Follow your aftercare and let shedding occur without picking or scrubbing.
No. The choice and technique require individual assessment, particularly where pigment changes are a concern.
Redness, dryness and shedding may occur. Deeper treatments can require substantially longer recovery, so confirm the plan before booking around work or events.
Ask Revival for the current price for your treatment area and proposed plan. We will discuss the product or device, what is included and any applicable membership terms before you choose.
Discuss medications and supplements with your Revival provider before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medication without guidance from the prescribing clinician. Burns, persistent redness, infection, scarring and lasting pigment changes are possible. Skin tone and a history of cold sores or abnormal healing require careful discussion.
