Lumenis M22 is a modular aesthetic platform. Its technologies include intense pulsed light and laser modules. Each uses a different approach; IPL and fractional laser resurfacing should not be treated as the same procedure.
The relevant question is which module is proposed and why. An IPL consultation may focus on selected pigment or vascular concerns, while a resurfacing discussion considers skin texture. Your provider confirms the installed module and suitability.
