THE REVIVAL GUIDE / CONCERNS

Skin texture & pores.

A personal concern. A considered approach.

01 / UNDERSTANDING THE CONCERN

Understanding skin texture & pores.

Uneven texture can reflect roughness, congestion or scarring. Microneedling, peels and surface-focused facials have different roles. Identify the cause before choosing a treatment for smoother-looking skin.

Describe texture in your own words.

Explain whether your concern is how the skin looks, how it feels or how makeup sits on it. Note where it occurs and whether it changes with products or breakouts. That detail helps make the consultation more specific than asking for a glow.

Pores are part of skin.

Pores cannot be permanently erased. Discuss realistic changes in their appearance and whether oiliness, irritation or scarring is contributing. Avoid building a treatment goal around filtered, poreless photographs.

01 / COLLAGEN-INDUCTION TREATMENT

Microneedling

What it is

Conventional microneedling creates tiny punctures in the skin using a purpose-designed device. The treatment relies on the skin’s healing response and does not add radiofrequency energy.

How it helps

Controlled needle penetration initiates a healing response in the treated tissue. The goal is gradual change rather than an immediate replacement of damaged skin.

Key treatment details

  • Selected acne scars
  • Uneven texture
  • Fine lines

Texture changes take time and may require more than one session. Some scars will need a different or combined approach; improvement may be temporary.

Recovery & what to expect

Recovery to plan for

Redness, tightness, sensitivity or pinpoint bleeding can occur. Skin may react more strongly to active skincare while recovering.

02 / CONTROLLED EXFOLIATION

Chemical peels

What it is

A chemical peel applies a selected solution to produce controlled exfoliation. Superficial, medium and deep peels are different procedures, with different effects and recovery requirements.

How it helps

The formulation, concentration and application determine the effect on the skin. The subsequent shedding and repair can change the appearance of selected surface concerns.

Key treatment details

  • Selected uneven tone
  • Surface texture
  • Some fine lines & blemishes

Surface changes may become visible as skin recovers. Repeat treatment is considered only after assessing response and tolerability.

Recovery & what to expect

Recovery to plan for

Redness, dryness and shedding may occur. Deeper treatments can require substantially longer recovery, so confirm the plan before booking around work or events.

What to expect

Surface changes may become visible as skin recovers. Repeat treatment is considered only after assessing response and tolerability.

03 / EXFOLIATION & INFUSION

DiamondGlow

What it is

DiamondGlow is a dermabrasion treatment that exfoliates the skin’s surface, uses suction to remove debris and delivers a selected topical cosmetic serum. The tip and serum are chosen for the skin being treated.

How it helps

A diamond tip provides surface exfoliation while suction draws away debris. Serum is delivered during the treatment.

Key treatment details

  • Surface buildup
  • Dull-looking skin
  • A smoother skin feel

The skin may feel smoother after treatment. The response varies and topical serums do not replace medical treatment for a skin condition.

Recovery & what to expect

Recovery to plan for

Temporary redness, tightness, stinging or slight swelling can occur. Follow sun-protection and skincare advice rather than adding extra exfoliation immediately afterward.

What to expect

The skin may feel smoother after treatment. The response varies and topical serums do not replace medical treatment for a skin condition.

YOUR PLAN AT REVIVAL

Make the next step
an informed one.

01

Understand the starting point.

Share previous procedures, reactions and the change you have in mind. Your clinician reviews your history and examines the area before recommending treatment.

02

Agree on the scope.

Ask which product or device is proposed, why it fits your goal and what alternatives exist. Confirm the number of visits, recovery arrangements and full estimate.

03

Review the response.

Allow the appropriate recovery time before judging the result. Discuss how progress will be recorded and when to review whether further treatment is worthwhile.

Understand the investment.

Compare the same treatment scope. Signature and Reserve offer preferred rates; membership fees and treatment charges are separate.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

Good questions.
Clearer answers.

Practical detail for your next conversation.

Ask something else ↗︎
Can treatment make skin permanently poreless?

No. Set goals around visible improvement rather than removing a normal skin feature.

Is roughness always acne scarring?

No. An assessment should distinguish scars from congestion and other texture changes.

Is DiamondGlow the same as microneedling?

No. It works at the surface through dermabrasion and topical serum delivery, rather than placing needles into skin.

How should I compare the cost of my options?

Ask for a written estimate naming the treatment, product or device, area, quantity and number of visits. Microneedling and Chemical peels can have different pricing bases, so a single advertised figure may not describe the same scope. Current standard and eligible member rates are shown on the treatment pages; your provider confirms the complete plan before treatment.
